I'm Julie Lythcott-Haims, and I'm a North Star Progressive Democrat candidate. I'm a Black, biracial, queer, bisexual cis-woman with a deep passion for equity and inclusion. I have dedicated my career to helping humans from all walks of life thrive, and to creating a more just and equitable society. As a lawyer, former Stanford dean, TED speaker, and New York Times bestselling author on books about human development, I have a unique perspective on the challenges facing our communities and am well-equipped to bring fresh ideas, vision, and innovative solutions to the table.
If elected, I am committed to working tirelessly to advance the interests of the California Democratic Party and the people it represents. I believe that by working together and focusing on the issues that matter most to our communities, we can create meaningful change and make a positive impact on the lives of all Californians.
One of my top priorities as an elected delegate will be to increase housing opportunities in California, and I will focus my housing lens on equity and inclusion. I am also deeply committed to supporting and empowering young people, and will work to support initiatives that address their unique challenges and needs and to bring their voice to the table. I will also work to empower individual Californians to do their part to lessen the impact of climate change.
Overall, I am a highly qualified and dedicated candidate who is committed to working for the betterment of our communities and the people of California. If elected, I will bring my unique skills, experience, and passion to the table and work tirelessly to advance the interests of the California Democratic Party and the people it represents.
